Are you in the market to sell your home or one of your investment properties?
If you’re keen to maximise your sales price (and let’s face it – who isn’t?) then the Pokémon Go approach to listing your property could be the way to go!
Not sure what Pokèmon Go is? It’s the latest app that kids of all ages are playing (all 40 million of them, including adults) and its encouraging people to get up and get active by chasing Pokémon characters across their suburb.
One savvy real estate agent has jumped on the craze by incorporating Pokemon folklore into his listing.
According to RealEstate.com.au, this “truly onixpected” three-bedroom home is on the market for the first time in more than three decades.
Sales consultant Ben Nguyen believes the Pokémon Go references he’s put in to the advertisement will help the property to stand out.
“All properties are marketed in a generic cookie-cutter type of way, so any point of difference and anything we can do to set ourselves apart from other properties is going to help,” Nguyen tells realestate.com.au.
While I’m not convinced that Pokémon Go is going to help him sell this home any faster, I am impressed that he’s using ‘out of the box’ strategies to get his listing seen by as many eyeballs as possible. To maximise your success in property, creative thinking is what it’s all about!
